The Mr Hong Kong 2010 will be crowned on August 21, 2010. The quality among the Top 10 contestants varied, it is said that organisers will increased production fee, providing 3D effect for viewers to enjoy Mr. HK contestants in swimwear and getting wet. It would even arrange viewers to enjoy the 3D effect in theaters and mall.
A spokesman expressed the reason why there are only 10 Mr. Hong Kong contestants is because they won’t divide them into youth and maturity groups anymore. Age ranges from 18 to 35 years old. Besides looking at their looks, they would also stress on performance, so that’s why among the contestants there are performers from Mainland TV station and gym teachers. Many also have fundamentals in kungfu. Several of them even know wing-chun.

Fans hoping to hear good news on Thursday night regarding So You Think You Can Dance favorite Alex Wong‘s injury, were sorely disappointed when judge Nigel Lythgoe said the ballet dancer, who thrilled audiences mostly recently with his historic hip-hop routine, would need surgery as soon as possible, followed by at least three months rest in order to make a full recovery.
We want to see more of Alex but due to his injury, we won't!
Bobo Stewart was spotted in the new movie Twilight: Eclipse as one of the Wolf clan... We think he is still too young to be the leading role for the movie.
The film's acclaimed cast features Japanese actor Ken Watanabe as Saito, "a rich and powerful business magnate," aka "The Tourist." Here's director Christopher Nolan's description of the character:
Ken Watanabe portrays the role of Saito, a rich and powerful business magnate, who offers Cobb a very special job with a promise of payment more valuable than money. Simply put, if Cobb can give Saito what he wants, Saito will get Cobb home. There is only one condition: Saito wants to accompany Cobb's team on the job to be sure he gets what he's paying for."
"We refer to him as 'the tourist' because he has no expertise, but uses his financial influence to join the group."
"At first, it's only a business relationship, but as the story continues, Saito and Cobb develop an understanding and a respect. They need each other."

Kafka is straight while Daniel happens to be gay. The young men fall in love, believing that their love can bridge anything, despite their difference in sexuality and Kafka's drug-taking. Daniel does not regret his love for Kafka, who tries to love him back against his nature. But a flashback memory from Kafka's past makes it difficult for their relationship to work. It turns out that their addiction to love proves more fatal than the drugs they use to explore the boundaries of their friendship.
The film stars Hong Kong Chinese actor and former model Byron Pang (Cantonese: Pang Koon-Kei), who was a runner-up contestant for Mr. Hong Kong in 2005, and Thomas Price, a half Chinese/half British actor who appeared in Permanent Residence and City Without Baseball. Like Scud's previous films, Permanent Residence (made in 2009) and the earlier City Without Baseball (2008), Amphetamine features full-frontal male nudity in many scenes, in among others, an outdoor fight scene in which Pang is stripped naked by other boys, gym showers, and a leap from a public building, in which Pang wears 'wings', and his whole body is covered in calligraphy and silver paint.
Amphetamine examines the limit of passion, and is the second of a trilogy: the first, called Permanent Residence, examines the limit of life, while the third, known as Life of an Artist, examines the limits of art. Amphetamine was screened at the Berlin International Film Festival on 15 February, 2010, and was also shown at the Hong Kong International Film Festival on its final day (6 April, 2010). The third film has not yet been released.
A gay Asian volunteer based internet group in Toronto that provide education, information and social support for our peers.
A little history:
We are a group of volunteers from ACAS (Asian Community AIDS Services). Studies showed that as internet becomes more accessible and the number of users increase, it becomes one of the major venues for Asian men to meet their sex partner. ACAS recognizes the enormous potential of the Internet as an information portal, a new education/ outreach program targeting Asian men who use internet chat rooms was introduced. It is now become iRice.org.
What we do:
Do weekly outreach/live counseling sessions in gay chat rooms on the internet (currently in the Gay.com Toronto Asian chat room most of the time) to develop outreach, education and support program targeting Asian MSM (AMSM) via the internet to provide referral info regarding HIV / AIDS / STIs transmissions and treatments, to provide harm reduction workshops on safe party tips, to provide peer support to AMSM on the issues of social dynamics and isolation, to create and increase positive images of Asians on-line, to provide more educational space for AMSM on-line.
