A friend of ours in San Fran is looking for Asian men who would like to model for an annual calendar to help support HIV/AIDS organization.





Modeling Opportunity

If you are or someone you know is interested to be featured for Asian Men Redefined 2009 Calendar or Asian Men Redefined: Book One, please let us know by sending an email to info@asianmenredefined.com with the information below & criteria:

* Asian or Pacific Islander or Asian-Mix (biracial, etc)
* Age 18-35 years old
* Goodlooking, healthy, and fit
* Able to travel to San Francisco for photoshoot/s
* No modeling experience neccessary

The calendar project is a charity benefiting the Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center, one of the largest non-profit organizations whose mission is to educate, support, empower and advocate for Asian and Pacific Islander communities; particularly A&PI's living with, or at-risk for, HIV/AIDS. The 2010 calendar is scheduled to be produced in the months of February-May 2009 and will be available in the month of June 2009. The models will be compensated with 2 copies of the calendar, digital hi-res images and prints (TFP) from the photoshoots. This will be a great opportunity for Asian and Pacific Islander male models to be featured in a nationwide calendar.

A lot of stuff happened during the Vancouver Olympics over the weekend, but all anyone really really wanted to tell me about J.R. Celski's tattoo. Specifically, the giant-ass Pinoy pride (plus the Polish eagle) emblem inked on his chest, which apparently created quite a bit of buzz around the internets.

Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew Season 5. My 2 favourite groups are Poreotix, the all-Asian crew of guys from Orange County. They definitely delivered one of the most memorable performances -- these guys are natural showmen. But damn, they're also a bunch of dorky hams. I hope that doesn't get annoying. And The other crew I really dug: Hype 5-0, hailing from Hawaii. They're out to prove that Hawaii has a thriving hip hop community. Love their energy.
